Dr Fatima Madani is a lecturer in Marketing in RMIT's School of Economics, Finance and Marketing.
Her primary research expertise lies in Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics, particularly within the contexts of consumer wellbeing and sustainability. Another stream of her research focuses on life transitions and cross-cultural differences in consumer behaviour.
Her work has been published in leading marketing journals such as the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Travel Research and Journal of Strategic Marketing. She has also contributed to high-impact interdisciplinary journals, including Appetite.
Before joining RMIT, Fatima worked as a Behavioural Insights Technical Specialist at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Victoria).Her industry collaborations have secured over $200,000 in funding in the past two years.
