RMIT Online was created by RMIT University to provide a world-class digital learning experience that sits at the nexus of business, design and technology, ready to equip students with in-demand skills and qualifications.
Our 100% online course portfolio ranges from short, skills focused credentials to extensive undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
With a laser focus on digital skills and emerging technologies, our courses are co-designed and delivered with world-leading industry partners.
We are a group of passionate, purpose driven individuals, coming together to create meaningful work that makes a difference in people's lives.
We empower people to do the best work they can. You’re valued and rewarded for your expertise.
We are a team of lifelong learners who, like our students, strive towards growth.
We operate in a hybrid model. There is a lot of flexibility to work remotely within Australia, or from our Melbourne CBD office.
We try things others haven't to help people get ahead. Some are risky and work and some don't - we learn from both.
We never walk past a problem. We speak up, pitch in and own it. If something isn’t working, we work to fix it.
We focus on making an impact on thousands of working lives with what we do. Every one of us makes a difference every day.
We thrive when we all work as one - teammates, students and partners.
We pride ourselves on being a respectful, diverse and inclusive community where people are at the centre of our business.
Our office is in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. For those that enjoy coming in, our workplace is a casual dress, open plan space, with a well-stocked kitchen, breakout rooms, end-of-trip facilities, lockers, parents' rooms, and more.
We offer flexibility, ongoing learning and development plus a wonderful sense of community where we each have a voice and our ideas matter.
Our people are the backbone of our success. Hear first hand from them about their experience working at RMIT Online.
We are looking to hire a world-class team who are true innovators in the online education sector. Our goal is to run an efficient and thorough interview process where you can ask us all your burning questions and for us to learn more about you - beyond your CV or Linkedin bio.
The first interview with RMIT Online will be a call with a member of our Talent Acquisition team. You will have a chance to learn more about our culture, the role and the team you will be joining. We will also take this chance to get to know you, your motivations, and your previous experiences to determine if we are a match.
The next step will be a video interview with the hiring manager, where they will assess your behavioural and technical aptitude skills. This will allow you to understand more about the role requirements and meet your potential future manager.
Sometimes combined with Stage 2, you will be invited to showcase your skills, strategic thinking and technical ability by completing a technical challenge or presentation. You will present this task to a few members of the team, so we can learn more about how you perform in your craft and you can get a feel for the type of work you’d be doing.
We want to hear your story before you join! This final conversation is a time for us to revisit anything that either side feels they need to learn more about each other. This will be a conversation with a member of our Executive Team or a Senior Leader. They will walk through your history, what you’ve learned over your career, your successes and your biggest learnings.
Be sure to join our RMIT Online Talent Community! By creating a web
profile and telling us a little more about yourself, you'll be the first
in line to hear about any new and exciting opportunities here at RMIT
Online.
Be part of the conversation and keep in touch with us to find out about study options, campus life and upcoming events on our social media channels.
